Departures

This Japanese film is another gem. It tells the story of a young professional musician made redundant. He needs to earn a living and gets a job at a firm called departures. He thinks it is a travel agent or the like. He swiftly learns it is a company that specialises in preparing people to go from this world to the next. At first he is repulsed, but soon realises he has a talent for a new art form. A highly recommended film. Eddie
