Gezzathorpe and a man called Horse !

Some of you old timers may remember a movie A Man Called Horse an old Richard Harris film. He wants to become a fully paid up member of an American Indian Tribe and be accepted as a warrior. Well, to cut a long and good story short, they subject him to many trials, including hanging him up with two meat hooks through his chest, (see fig 1 below). He passes the tests and survives, let’s get one thing straight, we are talking about one tough SOB. Compared to Gezzathorpe a resident at the rubber Ramada known as diabetes.co.uk forum Harris was a wimp. Check out this guys diet (fig. 2), bare in mind he is a type two diabetic on nil meds and on enough carbs to croak a horse, and yet this man, gets hypos. After a veritable carb blow-out his BG only went to 5.7 ! We are talking about a man that makes Horse look pretty tame indeed, and from henceforth Gezzathorpe will be known as Crazy Horse.

Some may know, for exceptional people we award them a special medal known as the Wallycorker prize. This was set up in honour of an exceptional man called Wallycorker. A man who to this day is the only man ever to be banned twice under the same name at diabetes.co.uk. Wally was a staunch lowcarber and became a legend in his own lunchtime. From this day forward we are proud to announce a new prize for people of exceptional and almost unbelievable star quality, to be known as 'the Gezza.'
